In the province of Nisseno, at the foot of Sutera, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and 20 minutes from the splendid temples of Agrigento, the Azienda Agricola Vescovi Emanuela was born. We are 400 meters above sea level in a karst area that has always been devoted to olive growing. The property currently covers 5 hectares, on which there are 1,600 plants, and is continuously expanding.

Olive trees grow among centuries-old pistachio and almond trees, caressed by sea breezes and mountain air, on limestone marl soils with chalk outcrops-this is where we produce our EVO oil. Biancolilla, Nocellara del Belice and Giarraffa are the native cultivars that give rise to the “Santuli” blend, the highest expression of the territory.

Our olives are harvested exclusively by hand plucking, in the first decade of October, carefully selected and cold pressed within 12 hours of picking. Our philosophy is to enhance the more traditional aspects in perfect synergy of caring for the land, the environment and all those who are dedicated to it.

Eager to produce oil of excellence, we are guided by the knowledge that it is not merely a complement to dishes, but is the element that can enrich them with nuance and personality.
